Breastfeeding and ready to head back to work? Let's chat!
You're in the midst of newborn smiles, sleepy cuddles, and piles (and piles) of diapers, and then the thought crosses your mind - how on earth do I prepare for my return to work?
This is where I have a goal. I want you to be confident in your return to work plan. I want you to know what to expect, know that you have an excellent plan to maintain your milk supply and feed your baby, and I want you to know that not only can you do this, but you can crush it!
I have prepped for a return to work (x's 4!) Each time was different, but I absolutely remember all of the questions I had as well as each unique challenge I experienced with different babies.
What will we talk about during your return to work consult?
The short answer is absolutely everything you want to know. We will talk about how breastfeeding is going for you, and I will answer questions like:
How do I pump and save milk for when I go back to work?
What are breastmilk storage guidelines?
What kind of breast pump do I need?
How do I use my breast pump?
How do I know I have the right size flange for pumping?
How much breastmilk does my baby need?
How do I get started with bottle feeding?
Where will I pump?
What are the pumping laws in Tennessee?
How will my baby's care provider comfort them when they are so used to breastfeeding?
